Day 13: Tashkent
Day 14: Tashkent - Melbourne Flight
(Optional 2 day add-on to visit Nukus and the autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan)
Uzbekistan is a fascinating country in Central Asia with a rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture and beautiful landscapes. Uzbekistan has lots to offer, from a recent Soviet past to ancient Silk Road cities.
Today we will head to the airport and catch our flight to Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan.
After we check into our hotel let's head out and explore Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. Let's go up Tashkent TV Tower and get a 360 degree view of the city.
After catching a train from Tashkent we will arrive in the famous Silk Road city of Samarkand. With so many sights to see including the famous Registan Square.
After catching a train from Samarkand we will arrive in Bukhara. Then we will explore the historical centre of Bukhara.
After catching a train from Bukhara we will arrive in Khiva. Let's explore the ancient walled city of Khiva. An ancient Silk Road city founded around 1500 years ago.
We will say goodbye to beautiful Uzbekistan and catch our flight home to Melbourne.
NDIS funds may be used if self-managed or plan-managed for the cost of supports whilst travelling. Contact for more details.
There will be an out-of-pocket fee as well as the NDIS invoice fee.

> For group trips, the support cost per person will be reduced.
e.g. if it is a group of 3 travellers and 1 Supported Travel guide, the NDIS invoice will be divided by 3.
Self-managed NDIS participants:
Contact us, book your trip and pay the invoice.
Then claim back from NDIS afterwards.
Plan managed:
Ask your plan manager if you are able to spend your NDIS funding on this trip. Once confirmed, we will then send the outstanding invoice to your plan manager.
